Mr. Young was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.  He has participated in sports for the majority of his life; either through playing or coaching. He’s a Fourth Degree red belt in taekwondo; & played football and AAU basketball throughout high school.  As well as playing AAU, Mr. Young was in charge of player recruitment, scouting, and game day management for the Lake Norman Jaguars AAU organization while in high school and college.  In 2005 he helped coach the 17-U team to a 2nd place finish at the Div. II AAU National Championships in Orlando, FL.  Mr. Young graduated with a BA degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University in 2007.  He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Sports Marketing & Administration.  In addition to Y.O.! Sports & Entertainment, Mr. Young is the Director of Community Relations for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Black Chamber of Commerce; apart of the Urban League of Central Carolinas; and frequent volunteer for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.  Mr. Young is a certified player agent with the NBA Players’ Association.
