It has been a pleasure and privilege to serve our county for the past twelve years. My mission has been to stay connected by being active and involved. As a citizen and an employee of Greenville County, my career path has provided rewarding opportunities and worthwhile challenges that have been beneficial to me as an individual. Overcoming these obstacles and taking on these challenges have allowed me to grow as a humanitarian, one who cares and is concerned for the citizens of Greenville County.

Issues facing our county and sheriff's office:

• Additional manpower is needed.

• Gangs are invading our communities and schools.

• Deputies who have retired and returned to the sheriff's office, as part of the current sheriff's administration, hinder current deputies from advancing within their law enforcement careers with GCSO.

• Health care plans for retired deputies are not affordable.

My plan as your sheriff is highlighted in the points listed below:

• To increase manpower by placing more deputies on the roads in our communities and schools without asking County Council for additional funds.  If changes are made to the current budget, additional funds are not needed from county council.

• Build a more effective Gang Task Force Unit which will expand the current unit from two deputies to a larger, efficient number of deputies.

• Provide deputies with more promotion opportunities by restructuring the current GCSO staff and administration.

• Work with county council to establish an affordable health care plan for retired deputies.

This is a workable plan that will ultimately enhance the lives of all citizens in Greenville County.  Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to continuing my mission as your Sheriff of Greenville County.
