Arch Football
Objective:
The objective of the game is to push the football from the 20 yard line and try to get it to break the plane at the opposite end. When it hangs over the edge of the board without falling off it is considered a touchdown.
The player with the highest score wins.
2 people are required to play the game. Both players decide who goes first and a predetermined number (score) to be reached. They also decide how many pushes (downs) are allowed before the other player pushes in the opposite direction. The typical number of pushes (downs) is 2.
Player one starts at the 20 yard line, pushes once then again…if the football stops short of the edge and does not hang over, then player 2 pushes the football back from the position that player 1 left it.You cannot pick the football up and move it to another position without permission from your opponent
When a player breaks the plane (football hangs over the edge) that is considered a touchdown which is 6 points. The player then gets to kick a field goal by placing the football on the 20 yard line and flicking the football with his or her finger to cause it to go between the uprights at the opposite ends of the field.
Scoring: Touchdown = 6 points
Field Goal = 1
Players continue to score points until one reaches the predetermined number or the other player concedes that he or she has lost.
Players can make their own rules as long as they both agree before the game starts.
